Like frantic brushstrokes, fire scars cover the arid landscape near Lake Amadeus (upper right) in Australia's Northern Territory. Lake Amadeus is rich in salts that have been leached out of the underlying sediments. When dry, its lake bed is transformed into a glistening sheet of white salt crystals. This scene was acquired by the ASTER instrument on NASA's Terra satellite on January 3, 2003.

Presents a visual and sound experience about a young boy who enjoys playing with a large cardboard box. Explains that the boy imagines that the box becomes a stagecoach rumbling across the prairie, a steam locomotive puffing through the forest, a stunt plane diving and twisting in the sky and finally a space capsule on its way to the moon. This film can be purchased on DVD and higher quality versions of the film can be purchased for stock footage purposes. Contact footage@avgeeks.com for more...

present phonografic work has been recorded at a beautiful midsummer afternoon with bright sunlight and barely any clouds. thus the fjord was swarmed with boats of all sizes and categories. from small boats and yachts to vessels as big as ocean ferries and anything in between, all contributed to the size and amount of waves clashing against a small plateau of basaltic rock at this location at any one time. the recording has been made with a directional condenser stereo mic using the roland R-05...
